The Stunning Beauty of Engagement Rings

Whilst perusing through some wedding catalogues over the weekend I noticed how stunning the wedding rings featured in some of the articles were. Most commonly featured in the magazine were beautiful Platinum and Palladium wedding rings. I had always thought wedding rings to be quite plain looking, but this dispelled my previous notion. However, what I found more astonishing were the prices. I had always thought such a ring would cost an arm and a leg, but actually they proved to be quite affordable. I suppose people’s main expense is the engagement ring and after that they would prefer something a bit cheaper, or alternatively spend evenly on both rings. Also, in the magazine, there were plenty of attractive financing options for those wanting to pay off their purchases gradually over time. Following this research, I then wanted to do a comparison with the rings used to signify a couple’s intention to marry, or more commonly referred to as engagement rings. Were they just as affordable? I found that similar to wedding rings there are some stunning rings on the market. Of course most people would love to buy a diamond engagement ring, but for some it’s out of their budget. What looks just as good, are tanzanite or emerald rings. I suppose it’s all down to what your partner would be happy with, if they have always had their heart set on a diamond ring or would be just as content with another style of ring.

Further research led me to a number of websites, offering their unique rings at very affordable prices. For a complete novice, it was hard for me to differentiate which jewellery stores offered the best value for money as I didn’t have a clue what I was really looking for. But, then some further browsing and I found a company aptly named the Beautiful Company, offering fantastic engagement rings. They have a remarkable range of jewellery with great savings to be had if you book online. I remember seeing prices in the high street for similar rings on offer, and they were always considerably higher to what I’ve since found on the net. Plus, with so much fierce competition on the internet, nowadays it’s really a buyers’ market as super discounts can be taken advantage of. Whereas, if you choose to buy in the high street stores one can be sometimes limited in terms of buying, as there are usually only certain times when the shops have their annual sales. But, saying this you never know when a shop could decide to have a sale so it’s always worth checking both online and in the high street shops. On a final note, it’s also advisable to bring perhaps a close friend or a family member along to get a second opinion. This is because for such auspicious occasions as buying engagement rings, people want to ensure they’ve done everything possible to try and select a ring their partner will love.
